How you can convert the electrical signal into a pneumatic?

Below you can find a range of ControlAir transducers, choosing the one that suits your application:

I/P Transducers, convert a variable electrical signal to a linearly proportional pneumatic output. The pneumatic output is commonly used to apply pneumatic pressure to control valves, actuators, dampeners and louvers clutches and brakes, and web tensioners.

I/P Transducers are offered with extensive combinations of inputs and outputs, industry certifications (FM, CSA, ATEX) and Explosion-proof housings. I/P Transducers are available in various mounting options for space constrained applications. Explosion-proof I/P Transducers deliver reliable high performance for the toughest applications in the most hazardous environments. The NEMA 4X (IP65) housing is designed for both Intrinsically Safe and Explosion-Proof operation.

Example of 3-15 psi to 4-20mA Conversion

A current-to-pressure transducer is  used  to  convert  a  4-20mA electronic signal  into  a  3-15 PSI pneumatic signal.

This particular transducer is configured for reverse action instead of direct, meaning that its pressure output at 4 mA should be 15 PSI and its pressure  output  at 20 mA should be 3 PSI.

Calculate the necessary current signal value to produce  an output  pressure  of 12.7 PSI.

3-15 psi to 4-20mA Conversion.
