CMA proudly supports the Poseidon Team of the University of West Attica as a “GOLD” sponsor. This partnership strengthens the Poseidon Team’s groundbreaking research and educational efforts in designing and constructing an innovative low-consumption electric car. The vehicle will compete in esteemed international competitions, positioning the team among the top university teams worldwide.
CMA’s sponsorship includes both financial and service-based support, ensuring extensive visibility for the company. This includes logo placement on the team’s social media, website, apparel, banners, posters, and the vehicle itself. Additionally, CMA will have the opportunity to showcase its brand at key industry events and sponsor-related activities.
The Poseidon Team, a dedicated student research group, has been at the forefront of designing single-seater vehicles since 2012. With a history of competing in major events such as the SHELL ECO-MARATHON and Formula Student East 2023, the team now takes a step forward with its first entry in the Electric Vehicles category. Over the years, the team has developed and refined several vehicles, with notable models such as:
- Dominator 1 and Dominator 2: Early attempts that faced construction challenges.
- RENA: Competed for four years, gathering vital data for the next model.
- ORCA: Awarded for design and performance, setting a Panhellenic record in the Prototype Battery Electric category.
- ORION: The team’s first Formula Student vehicle, which placed 10th in the Combustion Vehicles category at Formula Student East 2023.
Through CMA’s support, the Poseidon Team is poised to continue pushing the boundaries of automotive engineering and sustainability, proudly representing Greece on the global stage.
